I don’t know if you’ve noticed this lately in the AI space or if it’s just me. What everyone wanted and was impressed with last year compared to now has drastically changed. 

Our wants went through a major glow up.

It makes me think of the cringey line Heidi Klum, host of Project Runway back in the day used to say, “One day you’re in and the next day you’re out”.

I think it’s soooo on point with the evolution of AI, particularly how we use it to support our small businesses.

I’ve noticed that GPTs/Claude Projects are no longer the rage anymore. 

Literally no one cares. Ew. Yawn. Boring. (And you shouldn’t either.)

Maybe I live in the future?

For instance, I recently found out that my business astrology chart is an Aquarius Sun, and that’s all about future living. 🤖 🔮

I digress. What’s the rage now? 

Backed by my own experiences working with clients, it’s AI powered apps and AI agents that can help you with your day to day AND support your community, have you in AI form, and just have a better offer.

I’ve seen this translate into more money and happier members and 1:1 clients.

Diving Into the Land of AI Powered Apps

I’m seeing a growing demand from business owners and customers for a secure and walled-off area of AI, powered by their own materials, with their brand, stunning UX design and experience.

Sorry for the caps! I had to get this off my chest because many people overtrust ChatGPT, and it needs to stop. 

Enter platforms such as Loveable, Replit, Vercel, and others. 

And OH THE POSSIBILITIES 🤩

I’ve played around with Loveable and Vercel, and I BY FAR prefer Loveable. Which, BTW, if you want to sign up and get some extra credits, then get the Pro plan using my referral link.  I get extra credits too when you sign up!

Vercel is super great too, it’s very developer focused and coding heavy. I’m still training myself on it before I offer it as part of my full AI consulting service.

What’s great with Loveable is that you don’t need any coding (not even code written by AI, which is what I suggest if you go down the Vercel route!). 

You basically take your idea of an app, chat bot, resource, website, etc… and put it into a Loveable chat. You can even ask Claude or Chat GPT to write an appropriate prompt to put in. (I’m all about the shortcuts that make you work smarter, not harder.)

Recently, I helped my business astrologer client create a chat-bot like app that analyzes users’ birth and business charts based on her teachings of how to read a birth chart, how to make money, how to develop your branding, and so much more. 

They are then able to use the app to have deep astrology backed conversations to make better alligned decisions for their business, which in turn, will lead them to make more money. 

And, the results blew her away.

It’s so fun to see her vision come to life in an actual, viable, and tangible app that will do what it says it will. The app greets visitors with an on-brand welcoming page where people can learn about it and create a free account.

Then, you are met with a page to enter your birth chart details, upload some files if you want, and then it knows about you. Now you are ready to ask it some questions as you would any AI. 

Advice on How To Build on Loveable

The key to building an AI app on Loveable is creating a detailed and specific prompt immediately in your first prompt. That way it knows exactly what you want.

To stop burning through credits, try setting up the instructions and uploading files in the knowledge base area. (You can find this by going to project settings, customization, knowledge.)

And you can also select individual elements in the preview and edit them via the pop-up menu. This also reduces using your credits, as you don’t have to prompt to do so.

Once you have the app published, I also recommend getting Loveable to monitor and notify you of any errors that could up before the app crashes or shows signs of problems. Seriously, so useful!

You can also connect it to your custom domain to make it even more *official*!

And finally, to protect your creation, turn off public remixing and remove the “Edit with Loveable” badge. Then no one can take your app, make it theirs and work on it. (Ha ha sucker!) 

Well, ok, that’s all I have for you on the new fan favourite, AI Powered Apps. I seriously think they are a game changer, and a huge level up from Custom GPTs and Claude Projects.
